Little is known about the events in World War II that took place in the small localities of Ukraine. This primary manuscript provides historical evidence of the events between June 22, 1941, and April 16, 1944. The diary describes events during World War II in the Lukacze ghetto and Svyniukhy located in the Wahlynia area of Ukraine. The events include life in the ghetto, fighting against, at various times, Germans, Ukrainians, Russians, partisans, and Jews. The author is the lone survivor of six who escaped before the slaughter of the ghetto inhabitants.
