L’Chaim Coin Necklace

Remembrance has taken on new implications in the aftermath of the Holocaust. The commandments to remember and bear witness have been integrated into modern Jewish observances and holidays, such as Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) and Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day).

The necklace is made up of a pewter coin with a Star of David cut out of the center. The phrases “L’Chaim” and “To Life” are etched into either side of the coin. The necklace also features a faux-leather cord closed by a silver clasp with a hook. 

The coin is also available without the cord.
