Remembrance Coin Necklace
Remembrance has taken on new implications in the aftermath of the Holocaust. The commandments to remember and bear witness have been integrated into modern Jewish observances and holidays, such as Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) and Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day).
This custom, die-cut pewter coin represents one way for you to engage with remembrance in your daily life. The necklace features a pewter coin with a candle, a commonly used symbol of remembrance, cut out of the center. The words “remember” and “zachor” are etched into either side of the coin. The necklace also features a faux-leather cord closed by a silver clasp with a hook.
The coin is also available without the cord.
