Blue Skies Water Bottle
This custom 600 mL BPA/BPS-free plastic water bottle features a quote from one of the most memorable parts of the Museum.
“And all I remember was the patch of sky that was my only connection to freedom, to life.”—Estelle Laughlin, Holocaust Survivor
The One Thousand and Seventy-eight Blue Skies exhibition displays individual images of the sky photographed above every known Nazi concentration camp and killing center across Europe. Photographer Anton Kusters took these images between 2012 and 2017. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the expansiveness of the camp system and the experiences that unfolded during the Holocaust under 1,078 patches of sky.
Includes a sheet of cloud stickers so you can create your own patch of sky on the bottle.
